IDS offers the following multimedia development services for the campus instructors.
- Consultations to discuss appropriate tools and strategies for your course and video
content, such as:
- Best practices with regards to video use in online courses
- Options for embedded assessments (within video itself or module)
- Module structure and content in myCourses
- Recording and editing short-duration instructional or introductory videos
- If an instructor desires a longer video, we can:
- Loan equipment to instructors to record videos on their own (microphone, computer with software, etc.)
- Show instructor how to use equipment and direct to appropriate campus support for software
- Assistance in creating slides for consistency, copyright adherence, and ADA compliance before recording
