To mark the International Day of La Francophonie, the ßÙßÇÂþ» invites students, staff and families to participate in a in collaboration with the Canada School of Public Service and Winnipeg's own Théâtre Cercle Molière.
The event, "A Hundred Years of French-Language Theatre with the Théâtre Cercle Molière," will take place on March 20 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Celebrating the iconic Winnipeg theatre company's 100th anniversary, the program features the play "Ô Canada, té qui toi?" (O Canada, just who are you?). The performance explores themes of identity, belonging, language and the integration of young immigrants in rural areas, concluding with a live Q&A session with the artists.
To ensure full accessibility, the broadcast will include English subtitles and simultaneous English interpretation. Educators and families can also access an to help prepare for the performance.
