Background
Sreenath Chalil Madathil joined the School of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering at ßÙßÇÂþ» after working as an assistant professor at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Before UTEP, he worked as a research scientist for the Watson Institute of Systems Excellence (WISE) at ßÙßÇÂþ»'s Research Foundation. He completed his PhD and MS degrees in industrial engineering from Clemson University and received his undergraduate degree from Mahatma Gandhi University, India.
His research expertise lies in applying operations research, simulation modeling and data analysis techniques to healthcare problems, focusing on patient-centered care and healthcare disparities. He has several publications in high-impact journals such as Computers and Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Management Science, Expert Systems with Applications and Applied Soft Computing. He also has received funding from the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Furthermore, he has industrial and national lab work experience with Los Alamos National Lab, BMW Manufacturing and Cognizant Technology Solutions.
