Meet the team
Cindy Cowden | cowden@binghamton.edu
Cindy is the senior associate director of Auxiliary Services. She has spent over 23
years in higher education focused on advocating for student health and wellbeing in
the field of collegiate recreation, through university level collaborations like the
Healthy Campus Initiative and in supporting student success through the delivery of
outstanding campus services. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Cardiac
Rehabilitation and Exercise Science from Ithaca College and a Master of Science in
Education from SUNY Brockport. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist and
Certified Student Affairs Educator. Cindy has worked in the clinical, corporate and
educational sectors of health and wellness with a focus on building strategic partnerships
and optimizing internal operations.
Jena Pasquale | jpasqual@binghamton.edu
Jena is the administrative assistant for the Auxiliary Services team. Before joining
this team, Jena worked in Human Resources for the University. She has an associate
degree in individual studies and business administration.
Mike Majewski | majewski@binghamton.edu
Mike is the assistant director of Auxiliary Services. He is a seasoned professional
with over fifteen years of dedicated experience in the dynamic realms of performing
arts and athletics at ßÙßÇÂþ». A graduate of SUNY-Cortland, he holds
both an undergraduate and master's degree from the institution. His multifaceted journey
showcases his commitment to fostering creativity and collaboration within educational
environments.
Meghan Schofield | meschof@binghamton.edu
Meghan is the assistant director of marketing. With a background in marketing and
communications, she keeps the ßÙßÇÂþ» community updated on services
available. She is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University with a bachelor's degree
in journalism and mass communications.
Justin Doolittle | jdoolittle1@binghamton.edu
Justin is the food service administrator for Auxiliary Services and brings over 22
years of experience in the retail food industry to his role. He specializes in operational
management, staff development and customer service within high-volume food service
operations. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from ßÙßÇÂþ»
University.
Jordan Finkelstein | jfinkel4@binghamton.edu
Jordan is the Food Pantry and BU Acres Farm manager. He has a Bachelors of Science
in Biological Anthropology and a Masters in Business Administration, both from ßÙßÇÂþ»
University. Prior to managing the Food Pantry and BU Acres Farm, he worked in commercial
agriculture.
Karen Gill Leighton | kleighton1@binghamton.edu
Karen is the contract and project administrator for Auxiliary Services. She has background
in Grant Management, Software Support and Information Analytics. She is a graduate
of the University of Scranton with a bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Stephen Kellogg | skellogg@binghamton.edu
Stephen is the operations coordinator for Auxiliary Services. Stephen received his
degree from ßÙßÇÂþ» while working at the University. He oversees all laundry and
vending services, is responsible for point-of-sale business continuity, and serves
on multiple standing committees on campus. Stephen has over 20 years of experience
working at the University.
