Student ambassadors

Student ambassadors

Student ambassadors at the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences are representatives of the school who lead tours, attend open houses and represent the school at events. Most importantly, they make prospective students feel comfortable by answering questions.

This year's student ambassadors are:

Heeral Naik

Heeral, student ambassador

Hometown: Gujarat, India

Year: P4

Heeral is one of our returning student ambassadors. During her P4 year, she will be busy completing her Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE) and contributing toward research with her Capstone Research group. She served as the 2024-2025 Student Dean and was previously involved with the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), the National Engagement for Industry Pharmacist Organization (IPhO), Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS) and Student Government. She works at UHS as a Pharmacy Intern. She is also an Indian classical dance "Kathak" dancer.

 Karissa

Karissa, student ambassador

Hometown: Albany, N.Y.

Year: P4

Karissa is one of our returning student ambassadors. During her P4 year, she will be busy completing her Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE) and contributing toward research with her Capstone Research group. She was previously involved in the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA). She is also a dental hygienist and a mom to her two children.

Kavisha is one of our returning student ambassadors. During her P4 year, she will be busy completing her Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE) and contributing toward research with her Capstone Research group. She was previously involved in SOPPS Student Government, United Multicultural Pharmacists Association (UMPA) and Women in Healthcare (WIH). 

 Emily Mocyk

Year: P3 

Emily is one of our returning ambassadors and is the Class of 2027 President and the Vice President of the Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists (SSHP). She works at Wegmans as a Pharmacy Intern and is actively involved in Scouting America.

Year: P3 

Heer is one of our returning ambassadors and is the Secretary of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), the Event Coordinator for Oncology Pharmacy Student Organization (OPSO) and the President for Women in Healthcare (WIH). She works at CVS as a Pharmacy Intern and is involved in The Rural and Underserved Service Track (TRUST).

Sajni Patel

Year: P3 

Sajni is one of our returning ambassadors and is the President for the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA), the President for the Student Pharmacist Society of the State of New York (SPSSNY) and the secretary for United Multicultural Pharmacists Association (UMPA). She works at UHS as a Pharmacy Intern.

Tiffany Milosav

Tiffany is the President of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and the Patient-Care Vice President for the American Pharmacist Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP). She works at UHS as a Pharmacy Intern. This is her first year as a student ambassador.

Bella Issa

Bella is the Director of Professional Programming for the Industry Pharmacist Organization (IPhO) and Student Government Class of 2028 Representative. She also serves as an Area Assistant for ßÙßÇÂþ»­â€™s Department of Residential Life. This is her first year as a student ambassador.

Diya is the President-Elect for the Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists (SSHP). She works at CVS as a Pharmacy Intern. This is her first year as a student ambassador.
