- (YIC) – The Challenge encourages youth across Canada to organize into diverse teams of three or more and participate in a three-stage competition proposing a project that will have a social and/or environmental impact. The top 30 teams with the most impactful ideas will receive $1,000 each, with the top team winning an additional $10,000.

The U of M School of Art invites students currently in Grades 10 and 11 from across Manitoba and neighbouring regions to submit artwork for NEXT UP!, an exhibition celebrating the creativity, perspectives, and artistic voices of youth across the region. Submission deadline is Monday, June 29, 2026. Please submit a completed submission and artwork images to:
