Healthcare education and research are located only a few miles from the Vestal campus
ßÙßÇÂþ»â€™s Health Sciences Campus in Johnson City, N.Y., serves as a hub for biopharmaceutical and healthcare research and education, supporting the University’s growing health sciences and healthcare initiatives.
Here’s a look at the University facilities on the Health Sciences Campus. Although the ßÙßÇÂþ» JC Center is about a mile from the Health Sciences Campus, it is considered part of it.
1 — School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences
96 Corliss Ave.
Home to the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, which offers a Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy in pharmaceutical sciences, a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and an entry-level pharmacy technician training program.
2 — PHARMACY RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CENTER
80 Corliss Ave.
Faculty and staff at the center carry out preclinical experiments to evaluate drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and efficacy, both in vivo and in vitro, supporting drug development activities at ßÙßÇÂþ» and beyond.
3 — HEALTH SCIENCES BUILDING
48 Corliss Ave.
The Health Sciences Building houses most of Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences, including the dean’s office, research and scholarship office, Innovative Simulation and Practice Center, and the divisions of nursing, public health, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and advising and academic excellence. Decker College offers an undergraduate degree in nursing, several undergraduate minors, and graduate programs in nursing, public health, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech and language pathology.
4 — FORD FAMILY WELLNESS CENTER FOR SENIORS

The University’s Ford Family Wellness Center for Seniors provides various healthcare services for older adults in collaboration with Guthrie Lourdes Hospital.
5 — BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY CLINICAL CENTER AT PARK
18 Park St.
The University acquired this 68,000-square-foot facility to house Decker’s physical therapy and speech and language pathology clinics, labs, classrooms and some offices. Construction began this fall, with a tentative move-in scheduled for spring 2027. In keeping with guidelines for historic buildings, ßÙßÇÂþ» plans to honor the German Bauhaus design of the 1940s building but will incorporate design features from the Health Sciences Building to connect the facilities.
6 — UNIVERSITY JC CENTER
10 Gannett Dr.
The University JC Center houses Decker’s Division of Speech and Language Pathology clinics, labs, classrooms and offices; the University’s Library Collection Management Facility; and Battery NY. However, once the clinical center facility is completed, the SLP division will relocate there.
