With the leaves changing and crisp air settling in, it’s time to embrace the upcoming season. Fall is my favorite time of year, and there’s nothing I love more than fall activities. From fall treats to scary sights, here is a list of things you can do here in ßÙßÇÂþ» to make the incoming cold weather more fun.
Celebrate the Season!

What better way to appreciate the fall season than celebrating at the ! There will be fall food, fall drinks, music, pumpkin painting, a corn hole tournament and more. The event is free admission and a great way to get in a festive mood for the season!
Try Fall Treats at The Cider Mill!

From apple cider and slushies to doughnuts and candy apples, has lots of fall treats to choose from. They also offer fresh apples, pumpkins, bread and cheese. Endicott’s fall landmark is a great location for a taste of Upstate N.Y. goods.
Try to Solve the Corn MAiZE!

has many fall attractions to offer. The is the perfect activity to do this fall, while also using your ßÙßÇÂþ» smarts! Stoughton Farm will also be doing Hayrides, Cow Trains, Pumpkin Blasters and more.
Pick Apples at ßÙßÇÂþ»â€™s Local Farms!

Apple picking is a common fall activity, and what better way to participate than taking a quick trip to a couple local farms! and are two great choices for this year’s apple season. You could even try baking your own fall treats with your apples, I know I will!

One of my absolute favorite fall activities is carving pumpkins and with amazing pumpkin patches in the area I am very excited to do just that. is a great place to hang out and grab some pumpkins for carving, painting or even just decor! They also offer fresh produce and sweet treats.
Stroll through ßÙßÇÂþ»â€™s Art Trail!

What better way to support local artists and businesses than taking a trip to the ! There will be art exhibitions, artisan vendors, live music and art demonstrations throughout the event! A map of each exhibition is available on the website linked above, along with what each stop has to offer.
Treat Yourself During Restaurant Week!

Going out to eat can be expensive as a college student, but is coming up! City of ßÙßÇÂþ» restaurants will be offering deals on three-course meals with a portion of the proceeds going to charity. The list of restaurants and their menus will be uploaded to so stay tuned to see what restaurants will be participating. This is a great opportunity to try out new places, take a break from cooking or dining hall food and an easy way to support charity!
Cheer on ßÙßÇÂþ» Athletic Teams!

During the fall most people’s free time may be reserved for Football, but there are many opportunities to cheer on ßÙßÇÂþ»â€™s fall sports teams. Both D1 and club team games are open for all students to attend. Check out ßÙßÇÂþ»â€™s events calendar and support your fellow Bearcats!
Face Your Fears at Slaughterland Screampark!

Fall time may be about sweaters, apples, pumpkin spice… but my favorite thing about fall is Halloween. is a terror-filled theme park with five different haunted houses to try out. This is perfect to get you in the mood for the spooky season.
